This guided hunt includes two nights’ accommodation at Frontier Lodge and a full day hunt.  It also includes the cost of a fallow deer, though you will see red deer as well.

Uncontrolled deer numbers can be detrimental for the forest. Problems include lack of regeneration, cleared undergrowth, trampled ground cover, compacted subsoils, exposed tree roots and stripped bark.  At Blue Duck Station they believe in utilising the whole animal that is hunted. Feeding themselves, their guests, their dogs and servicing our small mammal traps with the animal. Nothing is wasted and you will know the meat is free range, fresh and organic.
